He was born in Mesolongi in 1963. He started his studies at the Dancing School of Kiki Maniati and in 1989 he graduated from the State School of Orchestral Art in Athens where he was taught by eminent teachers such as Dora Tsatsos, Zouzou Nikoloudis, John Metsis, Bokoeva, Michof, L.Erenidis, S. Spiratou, etc.
As a dancer he worked with many dancing groups, such as H.Mantafounis’s team and at Airesis. In 1987 he took part in the comedy of Aristophanes “Ornithes” directed by G. Lazanis and with Manos’s Hadjidakis music as presented in the Ancient Theatre of Philippi, Delphi and at the Atticus Odeon Theatre.
He started his own carrier as a choreographer in 1991.
In 1996 he founded his own School of Dance in Athens (Kypselis 5A), which is an accredited member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. Every two years he directs and choreographs dance performances with the participation of students of the school. All the profits are given for charity reasons.
Since 2002 he has been teaching contemporary dance at the Drama School of the National Theatre.
In 2005 he was awarded as a choreographer the choreography prize KOULA PRATSIKA by the Greek Theatre Study & Research Center for Aristophanes ancient comedy “Lysistrata”, directed by K. Tsianos, and “Pia Eleni”, directed by M. Reppas-Th.Papathanasiou, performed at the National Theatre.
All these years he has directed and choreographed theatrical plays in the National Theatre of Greece, at the Athens and Epidavrus Festival, at the National Opera and in other theaters. He also directed films, TV shows, music awards shows, dance groups, TV series, videoclips, music venues, concerts and international events.
