The career of Fokas Evangelinos in choreography begins in 1991. His first choreographic work is in the revue Artzi Bourtzi and Hellas directed by Giorgos Kimoulis and music by Andreas Mikroutsikou (1991, Park Theatre). Since then he has choreographed and taken over the kinesiology of many theatrical performances.
Choreographed the revue Fiesta and Asta directed by Antonis Cafetzopoulos and music by Dionysis Tsaknis (1992, Park Theatre), the revue Pothen Aishos directed by Giorgos Kimoulis (1992 Park Theatre), Tam-Tam and Tango with the troupe of Mimi Denisis, in adaptation and translation of the same, directed by Roger Williams (1993, Theater Bretania), the play by Dimitra Papadopoulou Δεν τρέχει τίποτα directed by Yiannis Bezou (1993, Athena Theatre), the children’s revue by Eleni Gerasimidou Give me a hand (1994, tour), the classic Anna Karenina adapted by Mimi Denisis and directed by Korai Damatis (1995, Acropolis Theatre), the review of Sofia Filippidou Kou-Kou….Tsa directed by Lydia Koniordou and music by Dionysis Tsakni (1995, DIPETHE Volos), Theodora directed by Yiannis Kakleas (1996-1998, Acropolis Theatre), the musical Blood Brothers by Willy Russell in directed by Vassilis Nicolaidis (1997, Broadway Theatre),
Madame Sussou by Dimitris Psathas directed by Vangelis Theodoropoulos (1998, Bretania Theatre), Dimitris Psathas’ play Alaimonos to Neos directed by Kostas Tsianou, music by Manos Hatzidakis and sets by Renas Georgiadou (1999, Park Theatre), the musical The Students Grigoriou Xenopoulos with the troupe of the National Theater adapted and directed by Kostas Tsianou, music by Yuri Stupel and sets and costumes by Rena Georgiadou (2000, National Theater Kotopoulis), Lee Hall’s Cooking with Elvis directed by Yiannis Kakleas (2000, Diana Theater ), the adapted work of Eugene Labishe Δυόμιση Φόνοι κι ένα Μπουλντόγκ directed by Michalis Reppas and Thanasis Papathanasiou (2000 – 2002, Piraeus Theater 131).

In the summer of 2001, he was invited by the National Theater to choreograph Nefeles by Aristophanes, directed by Yiannis Iordanidis, translated by Errikos Belie, music by Filippou Tsalachouris and costumes by Yiannis Metzikof. The premiere of the work took place in the Hellenistic Theater of Ephesus and it was the first time that a modern Greek troupe played in this great monument of ancient Ionia.
The performance was then staged at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus and followed by a tour throughout Greece. In the same year, he will choreograph the musical Miserere by Panagiotis Paschidis, again directed by Kostas Tsianos with the troupe of the National Theater with music by Thanos Mikroutsikos and costumes by Yiannis Yiannis Metzikof (2001, National Theater Kotopoulis).
In 2002, he choreographed the musical Men Prefer Blondes, staged at the Athenaion Theater adapted by Panagiotis Mentis, directed by Grigoris Valtinou, music by Yuri Stupel and sets by Giorgos Asimakopoulos. In the same year, he choreographed the musical performance “Fairytale without name” by Iakovos Campanellis which was staged by DI.PE.THE. Larissa directed by Yiannis Iordanidis and music by Manos Hatzidakis. After the premiere in Larissa, the play was presented in Lycabettus, the Papagou Theater and the Forest Theater in Thessaloniki. The same performance will be repeated in the summer of 2003. In 2002, he will also choreograph Eleni Radou’s play Don’t Run, Mama, which was staged at the Diana Theater directed by Yiannis Kakleas. In 2003 he will collaborate with Kostas Tsianos and the Theatrical Route in Aristophanes’ Thesmophoriazusae (Ancient Theater of Epidaurus and tour throughout Greece) with music by Michalis Christodoulidis, sets by Antonis Chalkias and costumes by Yiannis Metzikofs and with Michalis Reppas and Thanasis Papathanasiou, with the troupe of the National Theatre, in their own play Poia Eleni? with music by Afroditis Manou, sets by Antonis Daklides and costumes by Evelyn Sioupi (National Theater – Kotopoulis Stage).

In addition to his theatrical works, Fokas Evangelinos has worked as a choreographer and director in musical scenes, such as “Chaos” where Anna Vissi and Sakis Rouvas appeared (1995). In the same year he undertakes the kinesiology of the musical performance of Alkisti Protopsalti in “Gazi” directed by Andreas Voutsinas.
In 1996 and 1997 he choreographed and directed the programs of the musical stages “RIBAS” “Gazi” and “Asteria” where Anna Vissi appeared with Nikos Karvelas. Τ1997 he signs the choreography of Anna Vissi’s tour abroad (Australia, America, England, Germany, South Africa and Cyprus).
From 1998 until today, Fokas Evangelinos directs and choreographs all the performances of Despina Vandis and Sakis Rouvas, in which the sets are signed by Manolis Pantelidakis. He has also collaborated with the singers Giannis Pario, Antonis Vardi, Tolis Voskopoulos, Glykeria, Kaiti Garbi, Stelio Rocco and Antonis Remo.
Since 1993 he has been systematically involved in television, choreographing many shows such as “Ciao Antenna” and “Bravo”, festive series “Aparadektoi”, “Hi-Rock”, “Dis Examartain”, music award ceremonies, beauty pageants and two advertising festivals at the Concert Hall. He will also take part as an actor and choreographer in Maria Georgiadou’s series “A Wonderful Life”.

In the cinema, he worked as a choreographer twice: in the comedy “Crying came out of Paradise” by Michalis Reppas and Thanasis Papathanasiou with music by Afroditis Manou (2001) and in the film “I’m tired of killing your loved ones” by Nikos Panagiotopoulos with music by Stamatis Kraunakis ( 2002).
In addition to his works aimed at the general public, Fokas Evangelinos will collaborate with the modern dance group Dancemania, which was created in 2002 by the Panhellenic Association of Dance Teachers. The purpose of this group is to promote children (12-18) with a talent for dance in order to engage in this art professionally.
Dancemania appears for the first time at the Athens College Theater with the play The Circle of the Butterfly, in which both the original conception as well as the direction and choreography are by Fokas Evangelinos.
